The Danville Real Estate Market is closing out 2011 very similar to 2010. This is good news at this point in the year as the home buyer tax credit gave a bump to sales in the first six months of last year. In the single family home market we see a moderate increase in the number of sales and the average marketing time has only increased by two days. Median home prices have shown a slight drop of just a tick over 3%. Townhomes and condominiums, like many other areas of the Tri-Valley are underperforming. Unit sales and median prices are down while marketing time, while still good, increased slightly over last year.
