2014 has arrived and it’s time to take a look at how the Blackhawk Country Club real estate market is doing. As with many other cities in the area Blackhawk is currently experiencing an inventory shortage of homes for sale. As of January 8th there are 18 homes in “active” status on the MLS. Of these 18 there are only 5 which have a list price under 1.5MM dollars. That is about as low as I have seen it in a long time. Danville Real Estate Review for 2011
2011 has come to an end and it is time to look forward to what 2012 has in store for us. Danville Single Family home sales enjoyed a nice jump over 2010 rising a little over nine percent. Median prices came under moderate pressure falling just under five percent from 2010. Marketing time remained constant over the last two years averaging just over one month to get a home under contract. Danville Real Estate Review 2011 versus 2010 through October
The Danville Real Estate Market is closing out 2011 very similar to 2010. This is good news at this point in the year as the home buyer tax credit gave a bump to sales in the first six months of last year. In the single family home market we see a moderate increase in the number of sales and the average marketing time has only increased by two days. There was a little news out today about our first storms of the year with the "Earliest Return of Winter Conditions to Lake Tahoe since 1969". I guess that means we can all look forward to another great year of skiing, boarding and snow play. As far as Danville real estate has performed this year versus last the word "steady" comes to mind.
